ABOUT ME

I’m Nadine TAKA, a dedicated and experienced Lead Consulting Guidance Counselor with over 14 years of expertise in child, adolescent, and family counseling. I hold a Diploma in Counseling and Orientation (DIPCO), a Masters in Educational Management (M.Eds.), and a Law Degree (LLB). My mission is to provide a safe, supportive, and empathetic environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to overcome their challenges.

I have worked with children, families, schools, healthcare units, and businesses, addressing emotional distress, behavioral issues, career guidance, and personal development. I specialize in helping clients with self-esteem, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, trauma, family separation, and more. Additionally, I offer online, phone, and in-person counseling services in both English and French.

As an educational manager and project planner, I assist students and professionals with academic and career challenges. I also provide training for other counselors, conduct workshops, and research issues related to child development and family dynamics. I host a podcast, Everything Beautiful, focused on parenting and child development, available on platforms like Spotify and Podcasters for Anchors.

WHAT I DO

With over 14 years of experience, I have enjoyed helping clients who feel trapped, discouraged, frustrated, empty and given up in difficult situations to find themselves by being empathic with them, not being judgmental, showing them acceptance and love holding their hands to show them that light which is fixed at the end of the tunnel. I am a fixer and that is my most obligation and sole responsibility towards my clients. I work with clients from all culture and social backgrounds in the English and French language. As a counselor, I have a strong desire to help young people live it and achieve it all without much of a difficulty.
